Some Public speaking techniques

Most of the people are scared of giving speech in front of the public. Like other skills any one can attain public speaking skill. Utilize the following tips to make your presentation more realistic and your delivery more attractive.

Don’t talk unnecessarily; or else merely it will be wasting of our time and energy

Each word that we utter must have some sense and be valuable and it must not wound listeners.

Our speech must be realistic and it should be understood by listeners. As there is tongue in our mouth, it does not mean that we have the freedom to speak for twenty four hours.

Our words must be exact and up to the point only, and not more than that.

Our words must not include sharp and hard words.

Avoid slang usages in your speech and try to pronounce each word correctly. Make use of simple words that are very simple to comprehend. If you are using hard words, make sure that you are pronouncing it correctly and these words are familiar to the audience

Make sure that you are well prepared and well dressed before you start your speech. These two factors are very much required to improve your confidence level. If you are perfect in these two matters you can move forward with more confidence.

Stay yourself away from condemning others and also passing unjustifiable remarks against others. Or else they also respond to us in the similar manner, which present us problem and left us without mental peace.

Start speaking while looking at one side of your audience, then slowly and steadily sweep to the other side, pause, and sweep back.

During your speech do not stay at one place try to move around the stage. Utilize the entire space which is offered to you.

While you give your speech make sure that you are maintaining a good eye contact with the audience. It is not compulsory to look each person in the eye, but you should look at them so that they will get impression that you are giving more importance to them.

If you are good at telling jokes you can use it in your speech, moreover it will be an entertainment for the audience. At the same time if you are not good at telling jokes better to avoid the jokes.

Our words must not make others getting annoyed and ruin their moods and do not spoil the situation.

Your words should be kind –hearted like and be filled with charm and loving in nature.

When you move towards the conclusion of your speech, stop for a while, adjust your explanation, and then conclude it.
